Who we are

Trejo Heritage Roofing Inc. is a South Lake Tahoe roofing contractor owned and run by Carlos Trejo. We install and repair metal, asphalt shingle and flat roofs for homeowners and businesses across the South Shore. Carlos is on the roof and on the phone; when you call, you talk to the person responsible for the work.

Carlos learned roofing the way most good roofers do: on the job, from people who took the craft seriously.

What "heritage" means to us

Roofing is a trade handed down. The details that keep a Tahoe roof dry, where the ice-and-water shield goes, how a valley is laid, how a chimney is flashed, are not in the brochure; they are learned from someone who did it right and then done the same way, every time. "Heritage" is our commitment to that standard, and to being a company our customers hand down as a recommendation to their neighbors.

• Free inspections, written estimates. We look before we quote and we put the price, the materials and the scope in writing.
• Built for snow country. Every roof is specified for 200+ inches of annual snowfall, ice dams, freeze-thaw cycles, high-altitude UV and wildfire ember exposure.
• Honest recommendations. If a repair is the right answer, that is what we quote. If a roof needs replacing, we will show you why with photos.
